  1. If you don't mind my asking, why "weird"?

  2. It seems to be such a bizarr topic for a podcast. :o)

But that is the beauty of the net: I am sure, there will be many people interested in this topic and find your page useful.

  3. You mean, there are other podcast topics besides health? ;-) [Mind you, the book title is TCOYP, the healthcast is more general--the flu shot, testicular cancer, etc. Wouldn't want the boys to OD on birth control info.] FYI, Whole Wheat Radio has some useful tips on size & tags: http://www.wholewheatradio.org/jbb/WWR_p..) Thanks.

  4. Perhaps it is this geeky thing going around that mainstream has not hit in. ;o)

No, even though i find it bizarr at first it is getting more interesting over the time.

But when listed under that topic, general healtcare does not come to mind at first. ;o)

  5. Hey Nicole!
I just came in to say "Yes, i'm one of the boys listening to bloggercon." Thats why i listening to your podcast today and yes, its great. i really love it!
You talked about the problems journalist have to select news. There is an old joke about it: "its a wonder: Why does exactly so much happen that it fills the newspaper?"

Paying for Podcast: OMG, no, please. Donate is ok, but not paying. The audience likes us because it's new. Adam Curry will get a lot of money, but even a good cast as yours will not.
A flatrate in germany is about 29 Euro - not more..
Please let us pioneers keep the podcast-community commercial-free!
    Thomas 08.11.2004 - 12:12
  6. I forgot to say this about free music: What i am doing is to collect free music and bands they proviode it and to tell bands and artist to use the cc-licence.
At the end there could be a directory with free (but licenced) music from germany - or a label like magnatune.com. what i need is support for this - like links etc.

  7. nice podcast!

on the topic of paying, i think donating makes sense. Requiring payment? eh....not so much. let's work to keep this medium as commercial free as possible. That's part of what makes it so compelling and so good right now.

I like the intro too. Have you considered playing some music?
    dr_s 09.11.2004 - 18:33
  8. @thomas: I would have to like crappy german musik but perhaps we will also see some usable ones ;o)

    @dr s
I don't think that 'commercial' is bad in its self. Perhaps, think of it the ferengi way

I think I might get down to shorter podcasts so there won't be such a need for music but if I find some nice, I will play some.

Btw I've heard your podcast yesterday and you are on my list for the next one ;o)

    Joubert 11.11.2004 - 05:03
  11. Hallo Nicole! Thanks for the link to Tim Maddens icons. I put them on my new design and they look great!
